New costume for this year. I’m hoping to get it done for Momocon. Had a few hiccups along the way, but I’m proud of how far I’ve gotten (and how much I’ve managed to find).
Top – Not happy that its is too small, but that’s what I get for buying a cheap item from china. Luckily it can be modified, so it’s not the end of the world. It also appears to be a thick enough material that I don’t need to buy any undergarments for it.
Update: Found a great sports bra that fits well, so I harvested the cross bars and pin them to the bra.
Wristband – I was hoping to add the edging with my sewing machine, but my wrist size is too small when compared to the sewing machine’s sleeve function. I will have to get a friend to assist as we sew it by hand.
Waistband – Since I couldn’t find any pants that had a white waistband, I found a cheap pair of pants while thrifting and I have a source for white stretchy fabric. I made a band that I can put on over the top of the pants which will give the visual style.
Hat – Got it custom made based off of an existing bunny hat design I bought from the creator awhile back.
Necklace – Bought online
Shoes – Got a cheap pair of white athletic shoes.

Overall – the costume is quite comfy to wear, but there are some drawbacks:
- The waistband looks terrible in the back, I’ll have to redo it at a later date.
- The crossbars always ride up after I sit down, so I’ll need to figure out a way to keep them in place (body tape/glue?)
